Do I require a doctor’s referral?
It is not mandatory to get a doctor’s referral, but it is recommended for individuals with underlying health conditions. This will allow our physiotherapist to determine the most suitable treatment plan for you.
It is important to note that insurance claims require a doctor's referral.
Duration of session?
45 – 60 minutes.
What to prepare before the first session?
It is advised to prepare any doctor’s referral letter (if any) and other relevant medical reports/ investigation reports (MRI, X-ray, etc.).
What to wear?
Wear comfortable and loose clothing which allows free movement.
What to expect?
Clients will be assessed by the physiotherapist to identify the cause and contributing factors of the current condition, and suitable treatment options will be provided.
Are physiotherapy sessions insurance claimable?
Physiotherapy is usually claimable via insurance.
A doctor’s referral letter is required. You will have to pay for all treatment sessions first, and subsequently claim from the insurer.
Insurance claim procedures vary across different providers, hence it would be advisable to check with your agent.
